Technology and Equipment
Our doctors utilize state-of-the-art technology and equipment to both diagnose and treat all of our patients to the best of our ability. That includes the following -

* 2D digital imaging with intraoral and extraoral cameras

* ergonomic dental chairs and stools for our providers
* ceiling-mounted patient entertainment videos for distraction and comfort
* in-house lab equipment to fabricate some appliances / trays
Insurance
Our office is considered an "Out-of-Network" provider for all dental insurances. We are not "In- Network" or Contracted with any insurance companies. More specifically, we can still help patients utilize their dental insurance benefits if their plan is considered a PPO Plan with out of network benefits. (The type of insurance plan that allows you can see any doctor/office you prefer.) We have full-time staff members who focus many hours a week collecting patient's benefits, limitations and coverages, filing claims for patients, sending pre-authorization requests for larger treatments, and ultimately fighting for our patients to get the most out of their benefits. Groomes Dental does not participate in Health Management Organizations (HMO-type plans). Patient's with HMO plans are unable to use their insurance at our office. If you are unsure of the type of plan you have, you can contact your insurance company. They can tell you if you can go to an "Out of Network" provider.
We know dentistry is not cheap, but we know it's an important investment for everyone - feeling and looking your best includes dental health as an integral puzzle piece. We do what we can to make it as easy as possible for all our patients to receive care, whether they have insurance coverage or not.
